The golden streets of Haarlem

The Golden Streets of Haarlem are the fun shopping streets around the Grote Markt. In the Golden Streets you can find the most special, unique shops. The seven streets all have something unique to offer. For example, the Warmoestraat is known as one of the most beautiful streets in Haarlem, you can go to the Koningstraat for interior design and you can go to the Kleine Houtstraat for craft shops.

The Great Church

The Grote of St. Bavokerk is also an essential stop during your visit to Haarlem. The church can be seen from far outside the city, and is therefore a large part of the appearance of Haarlem. The church has a unique wooden vault, a beautiful organ (The Müller organ), a beautiful copper choir screen and over 400 gravestones on the floor. Frans Hals and Willem Bilderdijk are among those buried in this church.
